High pressure will hover over northern Europe on Wednesday, so expect clear skies and warm temperatures to persist over Scandinavia, the British Isles, and France and Germany. London will see highs near 75(F)/ 24(C) while Paris will reach into the 80s(F)/ 27(C). Scandinavia will be slightly cooler with highs in the upper 60s(F)/ 20(C).

In the southeast, a low pressure system will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday. Expect moderate to heavy rainfall over Austria, Hungary, and Croatia which will move into Romania and the Ukraine throughout the day. Some of these showers could reach as far north as southern Germany and Poland, but will only be widespread and scattered. The system will bring cooler temperatures in from the north, dropping temperatures more than 10 degrees(F) from Tuesday to Wednesday in some areas. Romania will see highs in the upper 60s(F)/ 20(C) and Hungary will only reach the mid-60s(F)/ 18(C).

Along the Mediterranean, expect warm weather, sunny skies, and pleasant conditions. Spain will see highs in the 80s(F)/ 27(C) and parts of Italy could reach into the mid-80s(F)/ 31(C).
